Overview
The CCG is looking to hire four key roles in their Planned Care Commissioning team. The Programme Managers will be responsible for commissioning, redesign, project management and development of a portfolio of Programmes of care across planned and unplanned care services. This will include ensuring that the right care is delivered in the right place and that services continue to improve health outcomes and patient experiences whilst demonstrating value for money.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To deliver these aims, the post holder will need to liaise with and manage relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and ensure competing priorities are successfully reconciled in a way that maximises QIPP opportunities and delivery. The post holder will also need to map patient journey and care pathways, have a thorough understanding of, and background in, NHS commissioning, QIPP and contractual mechanisms that will need to be addressed to facilitate delivery. This role would suit an experienced NHS commissioning manager looking to further their career in redesign, project and programme management
